Meta XR Simulator is a lightweight OpenXR runtime built for developers and enables you to simulate Meta VR devices and features on the OpenXR API level.

Known Issues
A known issue exists when using the "Epic Native Open XR" and switching device type in Meta XR Simulator. The first device chosen is always shown. We recommend avoiding this setup until future support is available in an upcoming release. The recommended workaround is to restart Meta XR Simulator completely
A known issue exists when using the "Epic Native Open XR" and RHI of DirectX11 (updated from default). We recommend avoiding this setup and using DX12 until future support is available in an upcoming release.
A known issue exists when using the "Epic Native Open XR" backend as the XR API in Unreal, specifically when previewing VR with more than one player and setting the "Multiplayer Pose restore Type" to "Restore Position and Rotation". This configuration may cause unexpected behavior. We recommend avoiding this setup until a fix is available in a future release.
