Version 41.2 Release Notes

The 41.2 release contains the following:

Experimental features (not available to all users):
  • Preloading may now occur on browser startup if you primarily use the browser for a single website. You can turn this feature off in your browser settings.

    • Additional changes:
  • Using Dolby Atmos decoder from the OS over internal decoder for a better user experience.
  • Fix a crash that sometimes happens when opening the Xbox PWA twice in a row.
  • Fix an issue with the notification permissions state not being properly reflected in the UI.
  • Fix for a minor issue when resizing the panel to match the video aspect ratio while in fullscreen.
  • Minimum OS version bumped to v81.
  • Fix for CVE-2025-11756.
