Developer verification policy

All Meta Platform Technologies developers will need to verify their accounts and their organizations.
  • Developers will have to verify their accounts by providing a payment method and/or setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) with either an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or LastPass), or their mobile phone number.
  • Developers will have to verify their organization, by one of the two methods outlined here.
You must not submit any material that is false, incomplete, or misleading. If any such material subsequently changes, you must promptly submit updated material to us.

Deadline for completing developer organization verification

All developers are required to have verified their organizations. Developers that submit apps or updates to apps for publishing on the Meta Horizon Store or Rift Store will be required to have successfully completed their organization verification before their app or app update will be published.
Additionally, developers that submit a Data Use Checkup (“DUC”) or that are recertifying their DUC, will be required to have successfully completed their organization verification before their DUC can be submitted.
