Ensuring a Smooth Payment Setup

If you plan to generate revenue with your app, the following suggestions can help streamline the store payment process and app submission for you:
  • Keep your financial information accurate and up to date. It’s surprisingly easy for this information to get outdated and a large number of the support requests we receive are about outdated financial/legal information. It’s important to review information prior to moving forward with app submission and launch.
  • Ensure that dashboard Role assignments are correct. The way each member of your team is categorized within the developer dashboard can be especially important when it comes to the payment process. For information on these roles, see Add members and roles to your team.
  • Confirm your payout information. Inaccurate information can (and has) lead to banks rejecting Meta Horizon Store revenue payouts.
  • Verify your Financial Entity information. Along with all other financial information, the FE field (financial entity) is especially important if you’re changing ownership of your team within the dashboard. When doing this, review all of your financial information for accuracy and see Dashboard Best Practices.
  • Reach out to FB support for financial requests. The financial systems are managed in partnership with FB support. Please reach out to them should you have any challenges with this process.
