This Blueprint has been deprecated and no longer functions on the recommended OpenXR backend. Use Get Device Type instead.
Returned the name of the connected device as a string.

Overview

This function returned the human-readable name for the currently connected device, such as “Oculus Quest” or “Galaxy Note 8”. On the recommended OpenXR backend, this function returns an empty string. It only returned device names when using the legacy OVR backend. Use Get Device Type for current device identification.

Output

The following list is a historical snapshot of device names that this function could return when using the legacy OVR backend. This list is no longer updated.
Samsung Galaxy devices were for the discontinued Gear VR platform. Oculus Go is also discontinued.
