Meta Connect 2023 kicked off last week with big news and announcements for developers, including the debut of our next-generation headset, Meta Quest 3, and several updated tools and features that will help you grow your business with mixed reality. We’re excited to share a few of the highlights, as well as information on where you can watch select sessions on-demand.

Where to Watch Recorded Sessions

In case you weren’t able to tune in, we’ve gathered this year’s developer sessions in one place so you can watch (or rewatch) on your own time. Take a deeper dive into the biggest areas impacting development on Meta Quest, including sessions on mixed reality, AI, Presence Platform, App Lab, and more. View select sessions here.

Meta Connect Keynote

Mark Zuckerberg and special guests unveiled the new Meta Quest 3 and demonstrated how Meta is bringing mixed reality to life. In case you missed it: Quest 3 is officially launching on October 10, 2023, and is available for pre-order starting at $499.99 USD.
Quest 3 is a world-class mixed reality (MR) device that packs a punch with major performance upgrades, crisper visuals, enhanced support for natural interactions, and more responsive inputs that can empower you to build more delightful and engaging experiences.

Developer State of the Union

StartingChris Pruett took the stage to share the latest news on the Meta Quest developer ecosystem, opening up with some promising stats and case studies showing how developers of all sizes are growing sustainable businesses on the Meta Quest Platform.
Over $2 billion has been spent on the Meta Quest Store, with one in 12 titles having earned more than $10 million in gross revenue. App Lab is also cementing itself as a valuable avenue for new and accomplished studios to drive growth. Roblox launched first on App Lab, so people could start to explore the wide variety of experiences that it has to offer, while games like Ghosts of Taborhave used App Lab to quickly grow an audience and scale.
With Quest 3 at your doorstep, there’s even more opportunity to grow your business. Read our Developer State of the Union blog post for more details on how Quest 3, improvements to Presence Platform, and brand-new tools can help you accomplish more and build a bigger audience.
