If the app features cross-platform play, then other users may show the appropriate headsets and controllers for their platform.
Cross-platform play must be clearly indicated to the user via a text overlay or voiceover. Without such an indication, the presence of non-Meta hardware in the app is a failure condition for this VRC.
Apps are not required to exactly match the controller used by the player. For instance, if a user has a Meta Quest 3 headset with Meta Quest Pro Touch Controllers, apps are not required to render Meta Quest Pro Touch Controllers for that user.
- Launch the title
- Progress through content for at least 45 minutes
- Observe whether any non-Meta headsets, controllers, branding, or logos appear in the in-app experience (menus, tutorials, gameplay, videos, images).
The app should not reference headsets and controllers for other platforms in the title, Store assets, or in-app experience. If the app supports cross-platform play, this must be clearly communicated by a text overlay or voiceover.
