Submit and Track Bugs and Feature Requests

The Feedback Center in MQDH lets you report bugs and submit feedback and suggestions directly to Meta’s product teams, ensuring your input influences product development. This also provides transparency on how Meta handles your feedback, offering updates as we review, prioritize, and implement your recommendations.
Submit feedback to Meta when you:
  • encounter bugs or issues that need resolution
  • have suggestions for new features and improvements
  • want to leave general feedback about Meta’s tools, SDKs, or services
Your feedback is used to improve the product for all developers. It is not the correct channel to address individual technical concerns, and Meta can’t respond to these. For individual support, use options such as the Meta Horizon Developer Forums.
All information you send us is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and includes information such as your user ID, device ID, IP address, location, and any ADB information and logs you choose to include.

Submit New Feedback

Report problems and suggestions on the feedback intake form. The intake form includes fields to:
  • select a category for your feedback
  • describe the issue in detail
  • attach relevant files and include diagnostic logs from the MQDH app and/or headset
Feedback reports you submit are then listed in the Feedback Center.
To submit new feedback:
  1. On the navigation menu, select Feedback, and then click Submit new feedback.
    -or-
    On the navigation menu, select Report a Bug.
  2. Complete the Submit Feedback intake form.
    • Title: Summarize your issue in a few words.
    • Type: Select Issue for bugs or Suggestion for feature requests.
    • Platform: Select the relevant platform or game engine.
    • Category: Select what your feedback most closely relates to.
    • Description: Provide a detailed explanation of the issue or suggestion.
    • Attachments: Click Select files to attach logs, screenshots, videos, or other files that help Meta understand or reproduce the issue.
      To attach logs from MQDH or from your headset, expand Include logs and then select the logs you want to include. For more information, see File Attachments.

File Attachments

The feedback intake form accepts the following mimetypes and file extension as valid file attachments:
  • application/pdf
  • application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation
  • application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet
  • application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
  • image/jpeg

Review Feedback Status

Feedback reports you submit are listed in Feedback Center along with their status such as “Received”, “Investigating”, and so on.
Your feedback and those of other developers are also listed publically in the Feedback Center. This is a public voting board where you can view summarized cases of the bugs and feature requests sent to Meta. When logged into Developer Center, you can upvote items to increase their priority.
The public voting board aims to increase transparency, improve creator engagement, and inform product priorities. It provides a clear view of how feedback is handled. Meta teams review the investigations and keep the case information accurate and up to date.

Edit Feedback

The Feedback Center lets you edit, add additional information, or delete a feedback report. Closed reports can not be edited.
To edit an existing feedback report:
  1. In the Feedback Center, select the feedback report you want to update.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Amend the report as needed, and then click Submit.
Note: Editing is only available for reports not in the the Closed status.
To delete an existing feedback report:
  1. In the Feedback Center, locate the feedback report you want to update.
  2. On the feedback report line, click ... > Delete.

The fix is complete and will ship in the next release.
Backlogged
The team has added this to their backlog, we will update this report when we make changes.
Meta has reviewed the feedback and added it to the roadmap for a future release.
External issue
There may be an issue with non-Meta software or you may require technical support. See our notes for more info.
The issue depends on a third-party provider.
Expected behavior
We were unable to find a bug and believe the product is working as intended. See our notes for more info.
The functionality works as intended (reasoning provided).
