What’s New with the Compliance Dashboard? A Hub For All Your App Compliance Needs
As of January 24, 2024, the Compliance Dashboard has been renamed tasks. As part of our ongoing investments to simplify how developers manage their apps, a new requirements summary is also now available on the Developer Dashboard. Navigate to the summary page for a consolidated view of requirements for all apps you manage.
We’re excited to share several major updates to the Compliance Dashboard that deliver a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for staying informed about developer program requirements, deadlines, and app enforcements.
Launched last year in Beta, the Compliance Dashboard is a one-stop-shop for managing and tracking platform requirements such as Data Use Checkup, the Data Protection Assessment, privacy policy reviews, and more. We’ve added support for additional requirements and notifications to help prevent unexpected warnings or enforcement action. With an improved UI, the Compliance Dashboard delivers clarity to help organization admins make sure their apps meet platform requirements throughout the year.

Take Action with Clarity Thanks to an Improved UI
We’ve updated the dashboard to help you understand exactly what violations have occurred, what actions you need to take, and the status of current and previous compliance violations. Now, when you click on an item under the Action/Requirement section, you’ll find detailed information about your app’s violation, including deadlines for upcoming enforcements, current active enforcements, and links to resolve your app’s violation.

Here’s a chart to help you understand what the status colors in the Compliance Dashboard mean.
We’ve also added a streamlined way for you to dispute app violations if you believe they’ve occurred in error. The Action/Requirement item will indicate if a dispute is available, and you can simply click the blue Dispute button to complete the dispute questionnaire and upload any applicable files if needed—all from within the Compliance Dashboard.
The new Dispute button in the Compliance Dashboard
When you submit a dispute, the Action/Requirement item will indicate that no action is needed, and its status will change to Under Review. If Meta approves your app violation dispute, the item’s status will be changed to Resolved. If it’s rejected, it will be indicated under the Action/Requirement, and the item’s status will be updated to Action Required.
In case you need to reference your dispute later, you can view all previous disputes and the subsequent decisions made by Meta under the History section of each Action/Requirement item in the dashboard.
Find Support for More Developer Programs and Policies
To prevent you needing to take a piecemeal approach of pulling information together for your apps, we've added support for even more programs. Now, you have a centralized hub for finding the compliance status of your apps and what’s required for these programs:
As policies change and programs are added, we’ll continue updating the Compliance Dashboard with the most up-to-date information so you can spend less time staying on top of all platform requirements and more time building apps people love.
Prevent Missed Deadlines with New UI Notifications
Building an app and growing an audience is time consuming—we get it. With new integrated compliance notifications within the Developer Dashboard, you’ll have help staying up to date on any violations so you can prevent app enforcements.
New Compliance notifications in the Developer Dashboard can help you stay organized.
