Private App Hosting with Meta Quest for Business

We’ve officially launched Meta Quest for Business! If you’re looking to host private business applications, you’re in luck. Meta Quest for Business lets developers distribute their applications directly to their enterprise customers through a dedicated business channel, making it easier than ever to manage and deploy applications to Meta Quest for Business-managed devices.

Admins for Meta Quest for Business organizations can accept the shared application and add it to their organization’s app library. From the organization’s app library, admins will have the ability to directly distribute the private app to their Meta Quest for Business-managed devices.

In order to request access to Private App hosting, developers need to be either:

Meta Quest for Business administrators will have to request access to private app hosting by submitting a request through the customer support form⁠ and providing their Meta Quest developer org ID. Note: Org IDs can be found in the URL on the Organization page: /manage/organizations/{this_is_ID}/).

Please note that private apps don’t undergo formal review by Meta and private apps distributed through a business channel must comply with applicable Meta terms and policies (including the best practices included in the Code of Conduct for Virtual Experiences), and Meta reserves the right to take action if they do not comply.
