Notification Tags and Images
Notifications in ODH keep you informed on your apps’ status and the product releases and news that could impact your development. Tags and images have been added to help you easily understand and prioritize the notifications that matter to you.
At a glance, see which notifications are blog posts, subscribed forum posts, or updates about your app’s submission. Once you’re caught up, jump right back into your workflow.
Launch Link in ODH (coming soon)
Coming soon to ODH on Windows for Quest headsets with v39 or higher, you’ll be able to enable/disable Oculus Link via the Oculus Link toggle on the Device Actions section. We believe this will reduce iteration time as you’ill no longer need to put on the headset to enable Link.
Disabling Proximity Sensor on ODH prevents the headset from going to sleep during the Oculus Link session as well. Disabling Guardian prevents Link sessions being interrupted by tracking dialogs.
Code Samples
All samples that are publicly available on Github are now accessible in ODH. You can find these helpful resources in the Code Samples area of the Downloads page. You can choose to download directly or go to GitHub to learn more.
Miscellaneous
We also made the following fixes and improvements across ODH:
App Navigation Persistence: The App Distribution page now remembers the last app you viewed
ADB Conflict Detection: More robust ADB conflict detection to mitigate device connection issues
Fixed bugs around videos not recording, downloads failing to install, and release notes not displaying for new updates
We hope you enjoy Update 2.3, and we look forward to your feedback! If you haven’t already downloaded ODH, you can do so for Windows or macOS. Learn more in the ODH Documentation. If you have any questions, please let us know in the developer forums.
