Meta Quest Developer Hub (MQDH) helps you improve your development iteration time, measure app performance, and stay informed on the latest developer news. This v3.4 update includes new commands to enable GPU traces, an expanded app list showing full APK names, and key improvements and bug fixes to boost your workflow. Here are the highlights:
New GPU Trace Commands
We’ve added a new command in the Device Manager tab that lets you enable GPU traces straight from the Perfetto drop-down menu.
With this update, you also have the flexibility to enable GPU traces with or without restarting system services for a more streamlined workflow. During development, it’s recommended to use Perfetto whenever you need to know how long complex workloads take to run. To learn more,
check out our documentation.
Full APK Name Display
We’ve updated the layout of MQDH so you can see the full names of APKs listed under “Apps” in the Device Manager tab. This change can help you find important information quickly and stay more organized during development.
- Bug fixes to prevent unnecessary adb calls from occurring during development
- Relabeled CPU cores in the Performance tab to reflect utilization
- Fixed issue where video recording settings were not saving correctly
Known Issues
- Casting from MQDH doesn’t function with VROS v51—please use casting from headset to web or the Meta Quest mobile app for this version
We hope you enjoy MQDH v3.4, and we look forward to your feedback! If you haven’t already downloaded MQDH, you can do so from its
