Meta Quest Developer Hub (MQDH) helps you improve your development iteration time, measure app performance, and stay informed on the latest developer news. This update includes M1 chip support, performance tool resources, and other improvements and bug fixes to boost your workflow. Here are the highlights:
M1 Chip Support
With the latest update, MQDH now supports Apple’s M1 chip. That means MQDH will now start up faster on arm64 architecture machines (Macs with an M1 chip). It also means that certain MQDH Performance Page functionality previously reserved for x86_64 machines (Macs with an Intel chip) are now also supported on arm64 architecture machines. The 3.2 update doesn’t impact MQDH’s performance or functionality on x86_64 machines.
Performance Tool Banner
When you log into MQDH 3.2, you’ll likely notice a new dismissible banner at the top of the Performance Page. This banner links to a new
developer guide we’ve put together to help you navigate through the various developer tools you can use to assist with performance optimization. It contains detailed information about each tool, including recommendations on when and how to use them. Be sure to bookmark this page so you can reference it throughout your development cycles for faster iteration and a smoother development process.
Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Fixed bug in Performance Flag Setting modal where you couldn’t create a custom rule because the dropdown menu items weren’t selectable.
We hope you enjoy MQDH v3.2, and we look forward to your feedback! If you haven’t already downloaded MQDH, you can do so from its
