Get Open Source Samples in the Public Oculus GitHub Repository
Oculus VR
We recently launched the public oculus-samples GitHub repository containing multiple open source samples. The goal is to share ideas and good practices so you can integrate key features into your own projects, find samples to inspire your own implementation, or take the pieces that you need for your own project.
Here are some samples you can find in the repository today:
The Asset Streaming sample for Unity demonstrates how to load different assets based on the desired level of details (LOD). It also uses Unity Addressables systems for asset management. Read more here.
The SharedSpaces sample for Unity and Unreal demonstrates how you can quickly get people together in VR using the multiplayer features in the Oculus Platform SDK. Read more here.
Stay tuned for more samples to be released in the near future at oculus-samples GitHub. You can get updated about these additions by clicking “Follow” in the top right of the organization page or star any of the specific repositories you are interested in. You can also find the same samples within Oculus Developer Hub under Downloads > Code Samples in versions 2.3+.
