We’re excited to announce the latest update to
Oculus Developer Hub (ODH). This release includes brand new capabilities to facilitate daily workflows.

Here are some highlights:
Custom ADB Commands
You can now save custom ADB commands and quickly run them at any time. This means you can take any ADB script files you have and put them inside ODH. You can run these custom commands with one click and they will automatically target the selected device in ODH. Custom commands are flexible. Launch your app with custom parameters or quickly toggle global device settings. To start using custom commands, go to ODH > My Device > Actions.

Device Media Browser
There is now an easy way to view and download media files that were captured on your device. Any time you capture a screenshot or video recording in your Oculus headset, it appears in the ODH media browser. Browse thumbnails and open full-resolution files with a single click to quickly grab media from your device and share it with others. To start using the media browser, go to ODH > My Device > Media Directory. You can also access the media browser from the folder icon in My Device.

Drag & Drop APK Install
It’s now easier than ever to install APK apps on your device with ODH. You can simply drag an APK onto any section of ODH to initiate an install. You can also drag multiple APKs to quickly install all of them. Install status is displayed for all APKs so you know exactly when the apps are ready to launch.

Device Nicknames
You can now save custom names for your devices. When you’re testing an app across multiple devices or building for multi-player capabilities, you will know exactly which device is active in ODH.
We hope you enjoy Update 1.6, and we look forward to your feedback! If you haven’t already downloaded ODH, you can do so for
Windows or
macOS. Learn more in the ODH
Documentation.
