Investigation summary
After updating to OS v81.1034, the double-tap controller gesture to enable hand tracking fails to work after the Quest 3 wakes from a long idle sleep (2-12 hours). The issue is reproducible 100% of the time after the specified idle period and is resolved by restarting the headset. Auto-switching to hand tracking by placing controllers on a table still works, indicating the hand-tracking system is active, but the double-tap gesture recognition pipeline appears to be stuck. The problem did not occur before OS v81.1034 and is suspected to be related to the double-tap gesture listener not reinitializing after waking from long sleep.
