Meta Quest Browser can open hosted 2D sites, screen-based 3D sites, and immersive WebXR experiences. Choose the path that matches your project.

Choose a development path

2D web development: Build and host a standards-based site. Test it in Browser, and optionally package it as a PWA.

3D web with IWSDK: Build screen-based 3D or immersive WebXR content. Test in a desktop browser, use IWER for WebXR emulation, and optionally package the site as a PWA.

Distribute your web experience

Choose one of the following distribution paths for your hosted web content:

Hosted web experience: Publish a URL for Meta Quest Browser. Submit WebXR content for consideration on the Browser new tab page, or use Web Launch to let users send an HTTPS URL to a headset.

Progressive Web App: Optionally package a hosted 2D, screen-based 3D, or immersive WebXR app for distribution through the Meta Horizon Store. See the PWA overview.
