Fast Prototyping and Leveling Up with Custom Sound Effects: Power Wash! By Ash.xo & Vidyuu

GenAI was able to make custom ‘car driving off’ sound effects, sounds that are nowhere to be found on the internet. We literally couldn't have done this without AudioGen!

Vidyuu

When long-time Worlds creators @Ash.xo pitched the idea for a car wash game to @Vidyuu, the vision clicked instantly. The result was Power Wash!, a playful, tactile, and award-winning experience where players clean grime off vehicles using custom textures and effects. But getting there meant finding workarounds for common hurdles: being able to quickly prototype and experiment with builds to ensure that game effects worked properly.
GenAI played a major role in the build, from greyboxing early layouts with Mesh Generation to creating unique sound effects with Audio Generation, including a custom “car driving away” sound that didn’t exist online. The team also used Texture Generation to build branded outfits, helping players rep their favorite worlds in style. The development process was fast-paced and collaborative, with the team leveraging the suite of GenAI tools several times a week to explore new possibilities.

Enhancing Immersion with Custom Assets: We’ll Only Make It Together by Emorgul

I was able to prompt ‘icy cliff face’ or ‘cold, dark water’ and get a handful of great-looking assets that I added to the World.

Emorgul

In the award-winning obby (shorthand for “obstacle course”) We’ll Only Make It Together, @emorgul used Mesh Generation to craft haunting tundra landscapes, icy cliffs, and immersive skyboxes. Initially inspired by the ice, wood, and pirate-themed assets available in the Public Asset library, he creatively stretched, skewed, and recolored these objects to simulate natural formations like ice and rock. This approach enabled rapid prototyping and world-building.
With GenAI tools, @emorgul was able to prompt for specific elements that elevated the visual fidelity of his environment. Audio Generation played a key role in enhancing the narrative, allowing him to generate subtle sound effects like pen-scratching for journal entries. Many of these details would have otherwise been omitted due to production constraints. These tools empowered @emorgul to build faster, experiment more freely, and deliver an experience that resonated with players.

Overcoming Technical Limitations with TypeScript Generation: Space Mission by natashagubernov

As a creator who has always focused more on the art side of things, now I can execute most of my ideas by myself, and it has tremendously sped up my workflow.

Natasha

Worlds creators come from all backgrounds and all levels of technical experience. As an artist by training, solo creator @natashagubernov had a vision for a comfy space exploration game, but relied on TypeScript Generation to act as her coding assistant. The tool helped her implement Worlds-specific functionality, optimize code, and troubleshoot bugs. To enhance immersion, natagubernov also tapped into tools like Audio Generation to generate custom space sounds.
Her award-winning world Space Mission became a personal milestone, built almost entirely with the help of TypeScript Generation. She is immensely proud of what she has been able to achieve with the world, and credits this accomplishment towards an improvement of her own skills, as well as learning how to ask AI the right questions through the Meta Horizon Creator Program’s mentor sessions. As someone who previously focused on the artistic side of the process, GenAI gave her the power to turn creative ideas into reality on her own—and turbocharge her workflow in the process.

Building a Fashion Empire with Texture Generation Overlays: Eltrim de luxe by Eltrim333

I use GenAI to create base textures and it never fails me. I use the base texture generated and add my personal touches to make it unique to me.

Eltrim333

Fashion-forward creator @Eltrim333 has been pushing the boundaries of virtual style in Worlds for over four years, blending sci-fi fantasy themes with high-end fashion aesthetics. In their latest world, Eltrim de luxe, @Eltrim333 harnessed Texture Generation to bring luxurious materials like crocodile leather and washed denim to life.
With simple prompts like “washed denim with a swirl design” or “floral tapestry in shades of blue,” the Texture Generation tool consistently delivered textures that matched @Eltrim333’s vision. These AI-generated bases are then elevated through personal customization in Canva, where @Eltrim333 adds distinctive overlays like skeleton motifs or floral accents to make each design truly one-of-a-kind.
This hybrid workflow—combining GenAI’s technical precision with human creativity—has transformed how @Eltrim333 approaches fashion design. Tasks that once took two weeks now take just three days. By integrating GenAI into their process, @Eltrim333 has created a fashion world that feels both polished and personal—where every texture tells a story, and every outfit is a work of art.

Speeding Up Asset Creation with Multiple Tools: Living Among the Gods — JoeBear

It’s been great for reducing the time needed to bring certain assets to life and for quickly testing out visual ideas. It also helps fill in smaller environmental details without breaking my creative flow.

JoeBear

Even the most seasoned creators can unlock new possibilities with a little help from GenAI. @JoeBear79 is a prolific world-builder whose creations include Toxic Teddy, Cyber City79 and Utopia Heights. For his latest work, Living Among the Gods, JoeBear wanted to step outside his comfort zone and try something completely different: a calm, relaxing exploration game full of mood and stunning Egyptian mythology.
Mesh Generation and Texture Generation helped him create towering statues of Horus and realistic desert textures, using prompts like “weathered sandstone statue of Horus with intricate carvings” and “shifting desert dunes in warm afternoon light” to generate visually rich assets that matched the game’s mythological theme. With Audio Generation, @JoeBear79 added immersive ambient soundscapes, including a “looping desert wind that feels natural and immersive,” which deepened the atmosphere without requiring extensive audio production. TypeScript Generation powered interactive educational elements, allowing NPCs to narrate mythological facts, and also filled in environmental details like lighting shifts and background sounds. These tools enabled JoeBear to experiment rapidly and achieve high-fidelity results without breaking creative flow.

Shortening Workflow from Days to Hours: Floor39 by Izukingz

GenAI has helped me build my games faster and look polished. The Skygen tool makes my games look excellent.

Izukingz

Solo creator @izukingz has been leveraging GenAI tools to streamline development and elevate the visual and interactive quality of his Worlds creations. A professional software developer who began building in Worlds during Meta’s Short Loop Mobile Worlds hackathon, @izukingz quickly embraced GenAI to overcome common design and technical hurdles.
In Floor39, one of the standout features is a shark obstacle—originally a challenge due to poly count limitations and aesthetic requirements. After struggling to find a suitable model externally, izukingz turned to Mesh Generation, using a simple prompt (“a model of a shark”) to generate the perfect asset on the first try. Texture Generation added the right surface detail, while TypeScript Generation helped him implement complex logic for gameplay interactions, saving hours of coding time.
Beyond gameplay mechanics, GenAI also helped polish the visual atmosphere. In Abandon Ship, Skybox Generation was used to create immersive skyboxes that instantly elevated the look and feel of the world. These tools collectively shaved about three days off of traditional workflow. For @izukingz, GenAI has become an indispensable part of the creative toolkit—accelerating production, solving technical challenges, and enabling high-quality results with minimal overhead.

Eliminating External Asset Sourcing Needs: Merge! Kitties by Kawaii.Creator

Together, [GenAI tools] have sped up our work flow and allowed for more experimentation during our build process.

Kawaii.Creator

Many tight-knit teams refer to themselves as a “family.” In the case of @Kawaii.Creator, family is true in a more literal sense. The studio is comprised of parents Jessica and Eric, and kids Charlotte, Christian, and Emmett. They play together, create together, and incorporate GenAI tools into their workflow as a team, supercharging their creative process and bringing playful polish to award-winning worlds like Merge! Kitties.
Tools like Mesh Generation and Skybox Generation allow the @Kawaii.Creator team to quickly generate custom skyboxes and 3D models, giving their worlds visual polish from day one. Meanwhile, Audio Generation has been a game-changer for sound design—helping them create magical purrs, donut-merging effects, and other whimsical audio elements tailored to each world. These tools have helped the team overcome common development hurdles: speeding up prototyping, eliminating the need for external asset sourcing, and avoiding licensing complications for sound effects. Their work is a testament to how GenAI can empower small teams to build big ideas.

Accessing Hundreds of Royalty-Free Sounds with Audio Generation: Sandwich Party by 5andw1ch

It can be hard finding the right sound effects online, and you have to make sure the sound is royalty free … With AudioGen, I know that all of the sounds are free to use.

5andw1ch

Having been part of Worlds since its beta launch, veteran creator @5andw1ch brings a deep passion for game design, backed by a background in computer science and early experience building 2D games. He used Audio Generation to streamline sound design in his latest world.
In Sandwich Party, sound effects were essential to creating a playful and engaging atmosphere. Traditionally, sourcing audio meant combing through royalty-free libraries and navigating licensing requirements. But with Audio Generation, @5andw1ch was able to generate custom sounds instantly, saving valuable time and avoiding additional licensing fees.
This shift not only accelerated his workflow but also gave him more creative control over the audio experience. GenAI helped remove friction from the development process, allowing @5andw1ch to focus on what he does best: building worlds that resonate with players.
