Meta Quest Developer Hub (MQDH) v3.5

Blog Hero Image
Meta Quest Developer Hub (MQDH) helps you improve your development iteration time, measure app performance, and stay informed on the latest developer news. This v3.5 update includes easy one-click updates for OVR Metrics Tool, a new release channel binary drop-down list, and key improvements and bug fixes to boost your workflow. Here are the highlights:

One-click Updates for OVR Metrics Tool in Device Manager

We’ve made it even easier to update OVR Metrics Tool (with one click to be exact). No restart is necessary—now when the system detects that you’re using an out-of-date version, you can simply click the button in Device Manager to update OVR Metrics Tool and automatically reload the overlay with the new app version.

New Release Channel Drop-down List

We’ve added a new drop-down menu to the app detail page that enables you to easily view and manage which release channel binary you're using in your headset. This should make it easier to hop into multiple versions of your build and stay organized as you develop. Please note that the drop-down menu won’t appear unless your app has at least one uploaded binary.

Key Improvements and Bug Fixes

  • Installed apps now show bundle code version in Device Manager
  • Added the full name of the target platform in the header of the app details page
  • Updated build upload modal to provide additional guidance for multiple OBBs and additional asset files
  • Fixed casting indicator appearing after pressing the stop button
  • Added callstack sampling support in Perfetto Settings
  • Prepended the running app’s package name for Perfetto trace file recordings
  • Layout fixes in Performance Analyzer
We hope you enjoy MQDH v3.5, and we look forward to your feedback! If you haven’t already downloaded MQDH, you can do so from its page on the Developer Center. Learn more in our MQDH Documentation.
