Set Up Headset with MQDH
You can use Meta Quest Developer Hub to set up new headsets.
To set up a new headset with MQDH, you need the following:
To set up a new headset:
- Make sure that the headset is charged and turned on.
- Enable Bluetooth on your computer.
- Open MQDH.
- In the left navigation pane, choose Device Manager.
In upper-right corner of the window, select Set Up New Device.
Note: If you have already set up a headset in MQDH, the existing device and the Set Up New Device option are both available in the drop-down list in the upper-right corner of the window.
- Read the guidance and select Next.
- Select the type of headset.
- After MQDH has discovered the headset, select the headset ID, and then select Next.
- Log in using your developer credentials.
- On the Wi-Fi window, select the WiFi network you want to use. This should be the same network as your development computer to enable casting the headset on your computer.
- On the Complete Setup from Your Headset window, put on the headset, and then follow the prompts.
- After the headset reboots and MQDH reconnects to it, use the slider to turn on the developer mode. Your developer account must be verified to turn on the developer mode.
- The final screen tells you how to
enable the headset to use MQDH features. You must:
- Connect the headset to the computer via USB.
- Allow access when prompted in the headset.
To set up another headset, repeat these steps.
