Oculus Launch Pad 2020: Applications Now Open

We just announced the winners of the 2019 Oculus Launch Pad Scholarship program, and we’re now accepting applications for the fifth annual Oculus Launch Pad program. Up-and-coming VR developers and creators from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply, now through August 20.
In order for immersive technology to reach its full potential, we need a developer/creator ecosystem that can build and ship diverse VR experiences to the world. That’s why we started Launch Pad—a program designed to support promising VR content creators from diverse backgrounds with hands-on training and support, so they can iterate on their unique ideas and bring them to market.
This year’s Launch Pad participants will join a virtual boot camp this September. Ongoing development support will be available as they work to finalize their working prototype in the coming months. This includes VR experts, as well as a growing online community of peers to support their fellow Launch Pad developers.
By investing in developers with unique perspectives, we can bring exciting new content to VR fans everywhere. This includes women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, and anyone who is willing to share how their perspective adds to the “diversity of thought” in our community.
