The Meta Horizon Creator Program (MHCP) is a community of advanced creators who build games, experiences, and immersive content in Meta Horizon worlds. MHCP members have access to exclusive benefits, resources, and opportunities to support and enhance their creator journeys.

Yes, as an MHCP member you get access to monetization tools, services, and bonuses, depending on eligibility and availability.

The minimum eligibility is that you must be over the age of 18, have an active Meta account, and be physically located in the United Kingdom, Canada, or the United States, excluding the U.S. Territories (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands).

We also consider a number of other factors when reviewing applications, which may include a demonstrated history of creating content that performs well on Meta Horizon worlds or other platforms, contributions to metaverse or gaming ecosystems, a record of following policies on Meta platforms, and more.

Meta full-time employees and interns are not eligible for the program.

We are working to expand program access to more locations, but we don’t yet have a specific timeline.

There is no deadline to submit an application. We will be accepting new members on a rolling basis based on eligibility guidelines and availability.

There are no term limits on your membership. If your account remains active and in good standing, and you continue to contribute to Meta Horizon worlds, you will remain in the program. Specific program benefits may change over time.

We are regularly reviewing applications. You will be notified of your application’s status as soon as possible. Please check your inbox or spam folder for an email from creatorprograms@meta.com.

If you live in a location other than the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom, your application is pending for 90 days. If your location opens within that time frame, we will review your application and notify you. If not, you will need to reapply after 90 days.

We know that this can be a disappointing result. Successful applicants often come from developers and creators who have shipped great content on Meta Horizon worlds or other platforms, and/or those who have contributed to the ecosystem of developers creating immersive content.

You will be eligible to reapply 90 days from the date you submitted your last application. We reserve the right to invite you to join the program if you have a hit world within this time frame.
