App Referrals

The Meta Quest app referral program is an open link sharing program where a user can create and share an app referral link with one or more recipients. Most apps that are priced above $10 USD are eligible for app referral links. When a recipient opens the link, their device browser will open a Meta Horizon store page, prompting them to claim the discount. Accepted app referrals expire after one week; however, recipients can open the original app referral link again to re-apply it.

14 days after a recipient has used the app referral link to purchase the app without returning it for a refund, the user who shared the link will get a Meta Horizon store credit of $5 USD or an equivalent amount in their supported regional currency. Users can earn up to $599 USD in Meta Horizon store credit, annually.

The discount amount for the first five claims of the referral link is 25% off. Every claim of the referral link after the first five will be 10% off.
