Submit and Track Bugs and Feature Requests
The Feedback tool in MQDH lets you report bugs and submit feedback and suggestions directly to Meta’s product teams, ensuring your input influences product development. This also provides transparency on how Meta handles your feedback, offering updates as we review, prioritize, and implement your recommendations.
Submit feedback to Meta when you:
- encounter bugs or issues that need resolution
- have suggestions for new features and improvements
- want to leave general feedback about Meta’s tools, SDKs, or services
Your feedback is used to improve the product for all developers. It is not the correct channel to address individual technical concerns, and Meta can’t respond to these. For individual support, use options such as the
Meta Horizon Developer Forums.
All information you send us is used in accordance with our
Privacy Policy and includes information such as your user ID, device ID, IP address, location, and any ADB information and logs you choose to include.
Report problems and suggestions on the feedback intake form. The intake form includes fields to:
- select a category for your feedback
- describe the issue in detail
- attach relevant files and include diagnostic logs from the MQDH app and/or headset
Feedback reports you submit are then listed in the Feedback tool.
To submit new feedback:
On the navigation menu, select Feedback, and then click Submit new feedback.

On the navigation menu, select Report a Bug.
Complete the Submit Feedback intake form.
- Title: Summarize your issue in a few words.
- Type: Select Issue for bugs or Suggestion for feature requests.
- Platform: Select the relevant platform or game engine.
- Category: Select what your feedback most closely relates to.
- Description: Provide a detailed explanation of the issue or suggestion.
Attachments: Click Select files to attach logs, screenshots, videos, or other files that help Meta understand or reproduce the issue.
To attach logs from MQDH or from your headset, expand
Include logs and then select the logs you want to include. For more information, see
File Attachments.
The feedback intake form accepts the following mimetypes and file extension as valid file attachments:
- application/pdf
- application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation
- application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet
- application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
- image/jpeg
- image/png
- .log

Feedback reports you submit are listed in the Feedback tool along with their status.
Status | Description |
---|
Received | Meta has received your feedback. |
Investigating | Meta is actively investigating your feedback and has taken it into consideration. |
More Info Needed | Additional details, such as crash logs or reproduction steps, are required. |
Update Identified | A potential update for the reported feedback may be included in an upcoming release. |
Works as Intended | The functionality described operates as designed. |
External Dependency | Awaiting resolution by a third-party provider. |
Closed | The feedback has been archived and is no longer active. |
The Feedback tool lets you edit or add additional information to a feedback report. You can also delete feedback reports.
To edit an existing feedback report:
- In the Feedback tool, select the feedback report you want to update.
- Click Edit.
- Amend the report as needed, and then click Submit.
Note: Editing is only available for reports not in Closed status.
To delete an existing feedback report:
- In the Feedback tool, locate the feedback report you want to update.
- On the feedback report line, click ... > Delete.
