The Meta Quest Developer Hub (MQDH) is a one-stop shop where a collection of Meta Quest SDKs and tools work seamlessly together. As the number of Meta Quest developer offerings grow, downloading SDKs, tools, and code samples directly from MQDH is the best way to discover new releases and stay up to date. When you download from MQDH, the package is saved to the packages folder: for example, C:\Users\janedoe\AppData\Roaming\odh\packages on Windows or /Users/janedoe/Library/Application Support/odh/packages on Mac. This folder is regularly scanned to check if an update is available and then prompts you to download the latest version. A quick way to find the folder path of a downloaded package is to go to Downloads > Installed and click on the name of the package.

Tip: We highly recommend re-installing the Meta Quest tools and SDKs from MQDH to receive automatic updates and notifications.

Notifications are essential in the development workflow to stay connected with the Meta Quest development ecosystem. MQDH notifies you based on the interests and subscriptions you’ve signed up from the Meta Quest Dashboard settings page.
