Manage your personal asset library from a web browser with Meta Horizon worlds
Meta Horizon worlds allows you to manage your asset name, description and other metadata outside of the Meta Horizon worlds app.
From the My Horizon Creations page, you can:
- View all the assets you own on one page.
- Search for assets in collections.
- Edit asset attributes such as name, description and collection membership.
- Edit collection attributes such as name and description.
- Delete assets and collections.
Visit the Horizon Creator Portal
My Assets page to view and manage all of your assets.
To edit an asset’s metadata:
- Click the vertical Three Dot button on the asset card.
- Click Edit.
- Edit the asset’s attributes and click Save.
Remove and delete an asset
To remove an asset:
- Click the vertical Three Dot button on the asset card.
- Click Remove, then click Remove on the Remove asset? dialogue that appears.
The asset will be moved to your Removed Assets folder.
To permanently delete the asset:
- Navigate to your Removed Assets folder.
- Click the vertical Three Dot button on the asset card of the asset you want to permanently delete.
- Click Erase, then click Erase on the Erase asset? dialogue that appears.
The asset will be permanently deleted from your personal asset library, and you will not be able to restore it.
View and manage asset folders
Your folders are listed in right side navigation bar. You can click a folder to see assets in that folder.
To edit a folder’s metadata:
- Navigate to a specific folder in the right side navigation bar.
- Click the Three dot menu at the top left of the page.
- Click Edit.
- Edit the folder’s attributes and click Save.
- Navigate to the folder you want to delete in the right side navigation bar.
- Click the Three dot menu at the top left of the page.
- Click Delete, then click Confirm on the Remove Folder dialogue that appears.
The folder will be permanently deleted, but the assets in the folder will remain in your personal assets library.
Note: My Assets is a default folder that you can use as your sandbox to save assets to it quickly and not to
worry about folder organizations. You are not able to edit and delete My Assets folder.
