Edit Scripted Avatar NPC Appearance

You can change the appearance of your NPCs to create all kinds of characters in your game. Choose from a large palette of body types, hair and face characteristics, clothing, and accessories to define the specific look of your in-world characters.

Edit Your Avatar Window

To modify your Scripted Avatar NPC’s appearance, select your Scripted Avatar NPC in the world. In the Properties panel, click Edit Avatar. The Edit Your Avatar window is displayed:

To change appearance:

Select a category on the left side of the screen.
1. Some categories have sub-categories.
2. Make your selection.
3. If present, click the color wheel to change the applicable color.
When you have finished updating your NPC, click Done editing. Click Save.
Click Done.
Back in the Desktop Editor, verify that your Scripted Avatar NPC is selected. In the Properties panel, click the Refresh button.
Your Scripted Avatar NPC’s image is updated in the Properties panel.

Note: You may have to Preview your world twice to see your Scripted Avatar NPC’s updated appearance. This is a known issue.
