Publishing Worlds On Mobile
You can define whether your world is available on web and mobile and whether it is intended to support web and mobile play using the Publishing settings.

Available Through Web and Mobile | On | Determines whether web and mobile players can visit your world. Turn this off to only allow VR players to visit your world. |
Compatible with Web and Mobile | Off | Determines whether web and mobile play is supported for this world. Turn this on if you have tested your world on web and mobile and made adjustments where required. |
Making a world unavailable on web and mobile
You can choose to make your world accessible to only Meta Quest players only as follows:
- While creating your world, open the create menu and select World.
- Select Publish then select the toggle next to Available Through Web and Mobile.
Changing this option affects your published version immediately. You can change this option at any time.
Showing a world is compatible with web and mobile
When entering a world that has not been set to compatible with web and mobile, players are shown a dialog that indicates the world is currently untested, and may not be compatible for web and mobile play.
If you have tested your world and are happy with how it plays on web and mobile you can choose to declare that your world is compatible for web and mobile players as follows:
- While creating your world, open the create menu and select World.
- Select Publish then select the toggle next to Compatible with Web and Mobile.
Changing this option affects your published version immediately. You can change this option at any time.
Image Technical Specifications
It’s said that a picture paints a thousand words, and images are the prominent “face” of your world so it’s integral to get it right. Ensuring your artwork closely represent the joyful aspects of your world, and looks attractive to relevant players, can help to improve the number of players that visit your world.
To submit your images, open the
Mobile World Submissions channel on the Meta Horizon Community Discord and use the template provided to submit your world images.
Note: All images must be in .jpg format.
